Making Medical Care Easy for Everyone With the increasing cost of medical insurance, higher co-pays and more out-of-pocket medical expenses, it’s not easy to always see a doctor when you need one. Prime Care Medical makes a doctor’s visit affordable for everyone.
“What we do here is to make primary health care available to all patients,” says Medical Director Dr. James Zelch.
The clinics have four convenient locations in Warren, Ferndale, Redford and Detroit, and accept all insurances and most HMO’s, but they also offer a doctor visit for only $59.00 for patients who have no insurance. “ We really try to cover the financial end to make health care accessible,” Dr. Zelch adds.
The clinics are walk-in so no appointment is necessary, but that doesn’t mean you have to wait a long time. Dr.Zelch says they try to keep the wait to a minimum so you are seen in a reasonable amount of time. And at PrimeCare Medical, you will always be seen by one of their family practice physicians, not a nurse practitioner like in the “quick clinics” which have been added to some grocery and department store chains.
Prime Care Medical is a full service care facility, and can handle all diagnostic testing and x-rays on site, so whether you are injured or ill, they can handle all aspects of care. Medications can be administered on site forpatient convenience, and the clinics also handle
occupational medicine and pre-employment or DOT physical exams
“It’s very fulfilling when patients first come in when they’re sick or injured and we end up becoming their family doctor because they are so pleased with the high level of care we provide,” Dr. Zelch says.
The clinics, which have grown since the first one opened 12 years ago, inspire to achieve the goal of making medical care accessible to all patients, what they need and when they need it. That’s why at least one of the clinics is usually open extended evening and Saturday hours. Call 248-543-6400 for clinic hours and locations.
Let Prime Care Medical become your family doctor!
